In 1985, Rotary declared war on Polio. Today, we're THIS CLOSE to eradicating this disease from the face of the earth. World Polio Day is October 24, 2019. To increase awareness, we will co-host the Independence World Polio Day Commemoration event on October 16, 2019 at the BlendWell Community Cafe in Independence from 5:30-7:00. Join polio survivors, medical professionals and Rotarians who have spent time on the front lines in the fight to end polio. This is a FREE event and refreshments, knowledge and inspiration will be provided. Join us! #PeopleofAction#TogetherWeTransform
