Members of the Rotary Club of Eastern Independence were busy volunteering over the Labor Day weekend. They first supported the Independence Chamber SantaCaliGon festival by working in the Main Stage beverage garden and by delivering ice to vendors.
The other service project was at the Rotary Youth Camp on Saturday morning where members removed the pool furniture and carried it to storage. It was kind of like a game of TETRIS figuring out how to make it all fit in the storage room, but we prevailed.
